LHC bar continues hunger strike

The Lahore High Court Bar Association has continued to hold hunger strike camp for the third consecutive day to protest against the emergency rule. Bar members and senior lawyers chanted slogans against the President, Pervez Musharraf.
Association's President, Ehsan Bohan said lawyers were fighting for fundamental rights, the independence of the judiciary, the rule of law and the revival of the constitution. He said the lawyers would never give up their fight for the national cause hoped the mass of Pakistan would also join them to strengthen the movement.
