The Elections Commission has set up 10 tribunals to hear appeals by candidates contesting the January 8 general elections. The tribunals will be Justices Abdul Shakoor Parcaha, Hamid Hussain Shah, Hamid Farooq, Syed Asghar Haidar, Syed Zahid Hussain, Fazal-i-Miran Chohan, Muhammad Muzzamal Khan, Sardar Muhammad Aslam, Syed Shabbar Raza Rizvi and Hamid Ali Shah.
A commission spokesman said the first tribunal made up of Justice Abdul Shakoor Parcaha would hear complaints of NA-48 and NA-49. Justice Hamid Hussain Shah will hear the appeals of NA-50 to NA-63, PP-one to 27 and all the national assembly reserved seats for minorities, Justice Hamid Farooq will hear appeals of NA-64 to NA-94, Justice Syed Asghar Haidar for NA-28 to NA-90, Justice Syed Zahid Hussain for NA-95 to NA-117, Justice Fazal-i-Miran Chohan for PP-91 to PP-136, Justice Muhammad Muzzamal Khan for NA-117 to 147, Justice Sardar Muhammad Aslam for PP-137 to 193, Justice Syed Shabbar Raza Rizvi for NA-148 to NA-197 and Justice Hamid Ali Shah will deal with PP-194 to 297.
