Justice Mian Hamid Farooq of the Lahore High Court has issued notices to the Punjab University in three different election petitions of former Member of the National Assembly Mehdi Hassan Bhatti and others and called for a record.
The other two candidates are Hassan Murtaza contesting the elections from Jhang and Qasim Ali Shah from Bahawalpur. Bhatti has challenged a returning officer's decision while the other two have challenged the degrees of their counterparts.
