BET to hear appeals of rejected candidates on December 6

Balochistan Elections Tribunal (BET) will hear appeals of 23 rejected candidates for Balochistan Assembly here at the premises of Balochistan High Court (BHC) on Wednesday (December 5).
A two-member tribunal headed by Chief Justice BHC, Justice Amanullah Khan Yasinzai and the other member Justice Akhtar Zaman Malghani will hear appeals of 23 candidates whose nomination papers for elections have been rejected by their respective returning officers (ROs) and challenged the decision of the ROs.
The tribunal will hear appeals of Moulvi Ahmed Khan PB-9 Pishin, Muhammad Raheem PB-33 Chaghi, Moulvi Abdul Khaliq PB-33 Zehri, Moulvi Muhammad Alam PB-33 Chaghi, Maulana Attaullah PB-36 Kalat, Maulana Abdul Rehman Sasoli PB-37 Kalat-II, Janan Achakzai NA-262 Killa Abdullah, Janan Achakzai PB-11 Chaman, Dashti Khan PB-29 Nasirabad-II, Metha Khan PB-29 Nasirabad-II, Abdullah Khan PB-10 Pishin, Moulvi Muhammad Essa PB-22 Harnai, Moulvi Attaullah NA-265 Sibi, Moulvi Attaullah PB-Sibi, Moulvi Lal Muhammad PB-9 Pishin, Haji Malik Karim PB-39 Chaghi, Shabbir Ahmed PB-Kech, and Asghar Khan Achakzai Pishin have made their respective ROs as party in their appeals while Major Nadir Ali (Retd) and Manzoor Ahmed have made Colonel Younas Changezi (Retd) and Sharifullah as party in their appeals respectively.
Two candidates for reserved seats for women in Balochistan Assembly have also filed appeals challenging the decision of the RO of Balochistan Election Commission for rejecting their nomination papers. They included Noor Bano and Samina Tareen.
