CDGK's assurance

05 Dec, 2007

The City District Government, Karachi is undertaking mega projects with the financial assistance of the Provincial and Federal Governments, and massive development works, especially laying of the new water lines and sewerage lines are being undertaken apart from the construction of flyovers to solve the acute traffic problems for which High Court of Sindh has also issued directives.
It is no denying that the citizens are inconvenienced but on the other hand the untiring efforts of the CDGK are being lauded where the works have been completed and vast improvement has been seen in such areas.
In fact the digging of roads is due to laying of water and sewerage lines, which are inter-connected throughout the city and as soon as the whole system is put into operation, the citizens will get rid off the daily nuisance of overflowing gutters.
The inconvenience of the public is only for the time being which will soon be removed and for which the CDGK is working day and night round the clock and trying its best to accomplish the massive task at the soonest possible.
It must be appreciated that all this is being done for the betterment and welfare of the citizens of the Karachi.
