IKMC award ceremony on December 8

A prize-awarding ceremony of the International Kangroo Mathematics Contest (IKMC) 2007 and the National Mathematics Olympiad 2006 is being arranged in the Bokhari Auditorium of the GCU Lahore on December 8 at 10am. Punjab Governor Khalid Maqbool will chair the ceremony.
Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences of GCU Director General Dr ADR Chaudhry will present a welcome address with Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Aftab addressing participants. The university's Fine Arts department is holding an art exhibition in the Minhas Art Gallery on December 11 at 3pm. Professor Khalid Saeed will be chief guest.
A 20-member delegation of the GCU Dramatics Club is touring India, headed by student's affairs advisor and dramatic club In-charge Dr Farhan Ebadat Yar Khan. The theatrical troupe has performed at several venues of the University of Delhi. Their performances of Ishfaq Ahmad's play Behen Bhai and Bano Qudsia's play Amar Bail was staged at the Habitat Centre Delhi, Lady Shriram College and the University of Delhi.
