Argentina will sell $604 million in Boden 2015 bonds to Venezuela, the government said on Tuesday, but it wasn't immediately clear if it was a new issue or tied to a sale announced last month. In an announcement in the Official Bulletin, Argentina said the Boden 2015 paper will be sold to the Venezuelan government at market prices.
Spokesman from the Economy Ministry did not immediately provide details about the announcement. Tuesday's Official Bulletin statement provided no indication of the projected yield range of the issue. Caracas has become a major source of financing for Argentina under President Nestor Kirchner after the country restructured some $100 billion in defaulted sovereign debt in early 2005, three years after a crippling economic crisis.
