The Supreme Court here Thursday directed Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) authorities to submit fitness report of its removed staff members by December 30. The case was heard by Chief Justice of Pakistan Abdul Hameed Dogar in his chamber.
The appeal was made by ninety-six employees of PIA. In their appeal, they prayed to the Apex Court against PIA decision of firing them from services on account of their upper age factor. The sacked employees were above forty years of age and PIA authorities have asked them to cease working. The Chief Justice directed PIA authorities to wait for the final decision of the Apex Court.
