A total of 2.97 million children of under five years age would be vaccinated against polio during three days long anti-polio campaign being launched in all four Talukas of Hyderabad district from Tuesday.
Executive District Officer Health, Dr Sharif Rathor informed that besides 618 mobile health teams which would visit door to door to immunise anti-polio drops in Hyderabad City, Latifabad, Hyderabad Rural and Qasimabad Talukas of the district, the children would also be vaccinated at 84 fixed centres and 37 transit points of the district.
