Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy brotherly ties: Soomro

Caretaker Prime Minister Mohammedmian Soomro has said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy close brotherly relations. Talking to ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan Ali S Awadh Asseri, here at the Prime Minister's Secretariat, he said the two countries have always stood together in challenging times and have an abiding interest in each other's progress and prosperity.
Soomro said the people and the government of Pakistan have great love and respect for the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia. The Prime Minister said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy strategic partnership and the two countries enjoy unanimity of views on most global and regional issues.
The relations between the two countries, he said, take strength from a common faith, history and culture. The close relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia cover political, diplomatic, religious, trade, economy and a host of other areas, Soomro added.
He said that a large number of Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia are contributing towards the development of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi investments, he said are growing in Pakistan in the areas of power, real estate and construction, thus strengthening the overall relations even further.
