'MQM's popularity on the rise': election offices opened

A leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Senator Colonel Tahir Mashahdi (Retd), has said that MQM popularity is increasing in the country with each passing day.
Addressing a corner meeting of party candidate for NA-118 here at Taj Colony, he termed MQM chief Altaf Hussain as a visionary leader, who always struggled for the rights of have-nots and rendered sacrifices.
MQM Lahore organiser and candidate for NA-118 Rana Farhat Ali advocate said his party was striving to put an end to the rule of two percent exploitative group. MQM candidate for NA-120 Maqsood Awan also spoke on the occasion. Earlier, Mashahdi inaugurated election offices of party candidates.
