PPP-S workers join PPP in Mardan

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Friday claimed that large number of workers of Pakistan Peoples Party-Sherpao (PPP-S) have joined the PPP in PF-27 Mardan-V constituency says a press release.
It was announced at a Jirga of elders held under the chairmanship of Former MPA, Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha at the residence of Javed at Qalib Garah Union Council, it added.
It said that the elders of the area have expressed their confidence in the leadership of former Prime Minister Benazir and Provincial President of PPP Rahim Dad Khan.
The elders of PF-27 constituency expressed the hope that they will cast their vote in favour of PPP's candidates in the area. Addressing participants on the occasion, Rahim Dad Khan said that his party did not believe on hollow slogans. In the past, we worked for the development and prosperity of people and will continue our struggle in future as well, he added.
He welcomed the new party workers who joined the PPP and added that it illustrated their confidence on the party. Muhammad Ali Bacha son of Rahim Dad Khan in his address said that future government would be formed by the PPP and those elements who are politicking in the name of Pukhtoon would face defeat in forthcoming elections.
