'FPCCI to guide in dairy products' export'

Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) will guide and create awareness about the potential of exporting milk products and Halal Food from Pakistan. This was stated by President FPCCI Tanvir Ahmad Sheikh while talking to Consul General of Federal Republic of Germany Hans Joachim Kiderlen on Friday.
He said Pakistan was among top quality textile producers and the product was compatible with any other competitor in the world. "We are committed to providing products of superior quality and recently we have made huge investment in textile sector," he added.
Lauding the cooperation extended by Germany he said that Germany had played an important role by supplying equipment and machinery of latest technology for the textile industry. He emphasised on reactivating Pak-German Business Council for identifying potential areas of trade.
The German Consul General assured President FPCCI that German government is considering adoption of system to facilitate participants of exhibitions to bring and take back the goods without custom hassle. He pointed out the importance of dairy sector and said that there exists huge potential for dairy products in Pakistan.
He said that by using modern processing equipment, milk and milk products can be exported from Pakistan, which he added will help to reduce poverty as well as generate income.
