British Airways has introduced special reward programme for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and other business establishments to help them get the most out of their travel budgets.
travelling expenses are a big challenge for SMEs, particularly for newly established business enterprises, said Paul Dhami, Regional Manager of the British Airways for Pakistan and Afghanistan here on Friday.
"Our 'On Business' programme helps to lessen this burden by allowing companies to earn points from employee travel on a group basis. These points can be redeemed for flights, upgrades and hotel stays, an excellent incentive for companies looking to make their travel budgets go further", Paul said in a statement.
He said that the employees who are Executive Club members will continue to earn British Airways miles and tier points for themselves as well. However, companies under corporate contract with British Airways are not eligible for 'On Business' membership, he said.
The programme was especially designed for small and medium sized enterprises that have employees who frequently fly for business reasons, 'On Business' is a reward programme wherein from all employee travel points are collected and can be redeemed at a later date for Reward Flights, Reward Flight Upgrades and Reward Hotel Stays.
Once enrolled, and activated each time a company employee travels with British Airways, the company will receive 'On Business' points. 'On Business' is free to join and open to any company with three or more travelling employees.
