56 flour sale points set up in Faisalabad

In order to ensure supply of flour to the consumers in sufficient quantity, 56 Special Sale-points have been set up in Faisalabad where the Flour Mills would supply the flour as per requirement.
This was stated here during a meeting held with the Senior Administrative Officer Liaqat Ali Chatha in the chair which was attended by DFC Mubarak Ali and representatives of Flour Mills and the Parchoon Farosh Associations.
It was decided to keep a proper vigilance over the supply of wheat to flour mills and distribution of flour by them in market. Food Department officials have been deputed in flour mills in the district to monitor the wheat supply, grinding and flour distribution to market by each and every mill.
It was also decided to ensure that flour supplies did not cross-over the district area and the DFC was instructed to depute staff at district limits for ensuring the implementation of decision in letter and spirit.
Flour Mills Association office-bearers Rana Aqeel Ahmad and Saleem Malik ensured their fullest support and co-operation in this regard and said that whereever some shortage came to notice, they would immediately rush supplies to the area to facilitate the consumers with sufficient supply.
Those present in the meeting included Flour Mills Association representatives Ismail Khan, Khan Akhtar Khan, Aamir Basheer Cheema, Mirza Aftab Ahmad, Representatives of Parchoon Faroosh Association Khalid Beg, Taqi Naz, Malik Rafiq, Mian Abdus Sattar, DFC Mubarak Ali, AFC Chaudhry Muhammad Shafqat and others concerned.
