Rising trend was seen in the grain market on Saturday as most of the commodity items depicted upward trend in process of trading, dealers said. On the seed side, wheat old and new both types gained Rs 25 to Rs 1750-1765. Guwar Sindh low type was sharply higher by Rs 100 to Rs 1850, while the Punjab type did not show any change at Rs 1200-1400, they said.
On the gram side, gram garda Punjab was up by Rs 50 to Rs 2675-2800, gram garda dal low type picked up the same rate at Rs 2800 and better type followed suit and rose by Rs 25 to Rs 2960. Beetle Chana No 1 low type gained Rs 50 Rs 2900 and low type rose by Rs 15 to Rs 3000. Beetle 50x50 low type gained Rs 100 to Rs 2775 and good type picked up Rs 25 to Rs 2825 and Bajra gained Rs 25 to Rs 1400-1775, they said.
