A full bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has dismissed an election petition of former Member of the Provincial Assembly, Akhtar Rasool and others challenging the decisions by returning officers. Petitions of Samiullah, Mehr Mehmood Ahmed, Muhammad Azam, Mehr Afzal Gill and Iqbal Ahmed Khan have also been dismissed.
The bench also adjourned till December 26, the proceedings in five election petitions filed by the former Federal Minister, Rao Sikhandar Iqbal, Muhammad Fiaz, Mian Muhammad Azam, Niamat Shah and Shibzada Qari Ghulam.
