Mild quake jolts southern Punjab

An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted parts of southern Punjab on Tuesday but there were no immediate reports of any damage. According to the US geological survey, the epicentre of the quake was north-west 105 km (65 miles) of Dera Ghazi Khan, at a depth of around 15.6 km, and occurred at 10:56am.
