'Government to hold fair, free polls'

Former federal 'Govt to hold fair, free polls' minister and PML-Q candidate from NA-55 and NA-56 Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said that the government would hold 100 percent fair and transparent polls in the country.
In an interview with Voice of Germany (VOG) he said that the opposition parties are accusing the government of rigging the polls, adding that it is only the accusations and there is no reality in these statements of the opposition parties.
To a question he said that the government would also invite the foreign observers to monitor the election process. He said that the foreign observers would also present their reports to the authorities concerned. To another query Sheikh Rashid said that the opposition parties instead of blaming the government of rigging should focus on their election campaign. He said his position in both the constituencies is strong and would win the seats with overwhelming majority.
The PML-Q leader said that the people are politically aware and now they could differentiate that who could serve them in and outside the parliament.
