Petition dismissed

A full bench of Lahore High Court (LHC) has dismissed an election petition by Khan Zia-ud-Din contesting the elections from PP-171 Nankana since his degree was invalid.
The court also dismissed petitions by Abdul Qayyum, Chaudhry Nazar Hussain Mian Najeeb and Muhammad Akram though, it accepted a petition by Qamar Javed and disqualified Intizar Hussain Bhatti contesting the elections from NA-103 Hafizabad for having a fake degree. The court also adjourned till January08, proceedings in two election petitions by Muhammad Ibrahim Khan and Khalil Tahir Sindhu.
