Political situation in Mirpurkhas takes new turn

The political situation in Mirpurkhas took a new turn after seat adjustment between three major political parties on one National Assembly and three Sindh Provincial Assembly seats of the district.
The seats adjustment have been finalised between Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Pakistan Muslim League (Q) and Pakistan Muslim League (F), informed the former Senator and federal minister Babar Ghouri, Ex-Sindh minister Shabbir Ahmed Qaimkhani, PML (Q) candidate on NA-227 Mirpurkhas-I Syed Qurban Ali Shah and Zonal Incharge MQM Saleem Razzaq while addressing a joint news conference here at the press club on Sunday night.
According to details, former Sindh Minister Shabbir Ahmed Qaimkhani, MQM candidate on NA-227 Mirpurkhas-I has been retired in favour of Syed Qurban Ali Shah, Ex-PPP MNA and now the candidate of PML (Q).
On PS-64 Javed Pappa, the candidate of PML (Q) retired in favour of Fahim Altafi, candidate of MQM. On PS-66 Shabbir Ahmed Qaimkhani of MQM retired in favour of Mir Waqqar, the candidate of PML (Q) and on PS-67 Muhammad Asghar, MQM candidate has retired in favour of Jamil Ahmed Bhurgari, the candidate of PML (Q). Babar Khan Ghouri said that initiative of seats adjustment has begun from Mirpurkhas and such practice would be carried out on other National and Sindh Provincial Assemblies of the province.
