A spokesman of Punjab government has strongly contradicted the setting up of an alleged cell for elections at Governor's House and the residence of former Chief Minister Punjab.
Reacting to the statement of a political party about the allegation of setting up a cell at Governor's House and the residence of former Chief Minister for elections purpose, the spokesman said that this allegation is a totally baseless and incorrect.
The spokesman said that the government of the Punjab has taken all possible measures for holding free, fair and impartial elections. The spokesman further said the allegations levelled against senior officers of Punjab government are also concocted and make no sense as they are not involved in any kind of political activities.
