Corps commander pays tribute to Pakistan Army and FC

Like other parts of the country, Eid-ul-Azha was also celebrated with full religious zeal and fervour here in Swat. According to Media Information Centre Mingora's press release issued here on Sunday, the day started with the morning prayers where special dua was offered for the security and solidarity of the country.
Meanwhile, Corps Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad Masood Aslam visited various battalions and formations deployed in Swat and greeted them on Eid. He paid glowing tributes to all ranks of Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps for serving with selflessness and undaunted dedication.
He commended the high moral of troops who were braving harsh weather conditions and difficult terrain with courage and fortitude. He also had Eid Bara Khanza with troops.
General Officer Commanding Major General Naseer Khan Janjua and Inspector General Frontier Corps Major General Muhammad Alam Khattak were also present on the occasion.
Army with help of local administration distributed special Eid package that included warm clothing, blankets and food amongst the locals of Kanju and Khawazkhela.
