Philippines share prices will likely consolidate in the coming week when trading will be limited to only three days due to Christmas holidays, dealers said Friday. "Next week, we will see consolidation," said Gomer Tan of Regina Capital Development Corp.
Many investors may stay out of the market entirely because "we only have three working days next week." December 24 and 25 are public holidays in largely Roman Catholic Philippines. For the week to December 21 the composite index fell 5.92 points or 0.17 percent to 3,532.98 points.
