Rasool Bakhsh Brohi case: three police officials granted bail

The Sindh High Court on Monday granted bail to three police officials who are accused of murder of Rasool Bakhsh Brohi, the resident of Sakrand (Nawabshah).
The SHC Chief Justice, Justice Muhammad Afzal Soomro granted bail of Rs 500,000 each to former head of Lyari Task Force and suspended Superintendent of Police Chaudhry Aslam, Deputy Superintendent of Police Irfan Bahadur and Inspector Safdar Shah.
The police officials are accused of murder of Rasool Bakhsh Brohi in a fake police encounter on July 12, 2006 in Gadap area of the city, who was later posed as notorious dacoit Mashooq Ali Brohi. The case was registered against them in Sakrand Police Station on a complaint by wife of Rasool Bakhsh Brohi.
