Shujaat rules out reconciliation with PML-N

25 Dec, 2007

President PML-Q Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Monday categorically rejected any reconciliation with PML-N saying there is no question of any alliance with Nawaz Sharif as he has transformed N-league into a 'B' team of the PPP.
Commenting on the statements of former PM Nawaz Sharif, the Chaudhry brothers are big hurdles in a unified PML, Shujaat told local TV network that he does not give any importance to Nawaz Sharif as he has become a junior partner of the PPP.
Muslim League worker will never vote for Pakistan Peoples Party, Shujaat said and added that PML-Q was focussing on making seat adjustments with its like minded parties.
Strongly refuting baseless allegation of pre-poll rigging, he said Nazims can't interfere in the election as election commission is very vigilant. Local governments are not allowed to announce any development package now-a-days. He said former PM Mian Nawaz Sharif has accepted defeat by clamouring about rigging even before holding of elections.
