PML-N NWFP lawyers wing chief resigns

President Lawyers Wing of PML-N NWFP, Advocate Abdul Sattar has resigned from his post for violating party discipline by withdrawing his nomination papers from NA-2 for showing solidarity with lawyers' community.
In a press statement issued here on Monday, Advocate Abdul Sattar said he feel regret for what he has done, but due to his professional constraint he has to show solidarity with lawyers' community.
"Being a professional lawyer I could not stay in front of lawyer's huge reaction and was constrained to withdraw my candidature," justified Abdul Sattar. Sattar said that he had intimated his party leadership at the time of awarding of ticket that if lawyers' community decided to boycott polls, he would also withdraw his papers.
He also thanked the party leadership for reposing confidence in him by awarding him party ticket for NA-2 Peshawar. Sattar said he is leaguer by birth and would remain associated with the party for ever. He hoped that the party leadership would realise his position in prevailing circumstance.
