We, at ACCA, have been enthusiastic and committed supporters of IFAC since its inception in 1977. The work IFAC has led - co-ordinating the voice of the global profession and encouraging the highest possible standards of regulation and performance - could not be more important to us.
That work and IFAC's considerable achievements have helped to transform the global profession over the last thirty years. Through our work on the IFAC Board and its advisory committees, ACCA has been privileged to play a part in this.
The next thirty years will bring a number of exciting challenges and opportunities, such as the increasingly important issues of compliance, and ACCA looks forward to continuing to work closely with IFAC to continue to enhance this great global profession.
