Ukrainian sugar refineries have almost completed their 2007 white sugar refining, producing 1.84 million tonnes of the commodity as of December 24, local agriculture agencies said on Wednesday. The agencies quoted Ukraine's Ukrtsukor sugar union as saying plants have received 16.33 million tonnes of sugar beet for processing and have already processed 15.8 million.
