Four killed in Taunsa blast

A bomb blast on Chashma right bank canal Taunsa Bharati road on Thursday morning resulted in the death of four persons, including three minors who were real brothers, and a man related to them. DSP Taunsa, Malik Khalid Mahmood told APP that the blast occurred at around 9:30 am near a bridge.
According to preliminary findings, the explosive device seemed locally prepared, he said. Those killed have been identified as Khizer, Jaffer, Safder - who were brothers - and their maternal uncle Yusuf. Police have cordoned off the area and further investigation is underway.
