Pakistan''s foreign exchange reserves up $22.3 million

Liquid foreign exchange reserves have risen to 22.3 million dollars during the week ended on December 22. According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), total liquid foreign exchange reserves, held by the country on December 22, stood at 15.6047 billion dollars as compared to 15.5824 billion dollars a week earlier.
Foreign exchange reserves, held by the SBP, increased by 22.6 million dollars to 13.3668 billion dollars, while the reserves, held by banks (other than SBP), declined by 0.3 million dollars to 2.2379 billion dollars.
