Six PPP activists die of shock, one commits suicide

At least six activists of PPP including two women died of severe shock and one Khadim Hussain committed suicide by hanging himself with a girder after hearing the news of assassination of Benazir Bhutto in different areas of Southern Punjab.
Secretary Information PPP Multan, Tariq Raza Khan said here on Saturday, "our six workers including two women died of severe shock in different areas of Southern Punjab while another was saved."
According to details, Muhammad Hussain Baloch (55) died of heart failure after witnessing the burial rites of Benazir Bhutto at Dewan Bagh (Multan), Syed Ijaz Hussain died in Sherhr, Sultan Muhammad Akram Qureshi, a staunch supporter of PPP died in Fazilpur while five persons Karim Nawaz Kortai, Khalil Bhatti, Asif Buzdar, Amjad Abbasi and Nasrullah Gopang became unconscious.
Khadim Hussain a worker of PPP committed suicide by hanging himself with a girder, one Muhammad Mohsin attempted to commit suicide by shooting himself but doctor succeeded in saving his life. Muhammad Yasin died of brain haemorrhage in Rahimyarkhan, a female worker of PPP Anwar alias Annu Khatoon (45) w/o Allah Ditta Pathan died of shock in Dandan-aut (Tranda Muhammad Panah). Fatima Bibi died of shock in Bahar Colony, Gojra. She was a close relative of PPP ticket holder from NA-92 Khalid Bashir. Three workers of PPP Goni Pehalwan, Bhutto Patangar and Shaikh Sabir injured themselves with scalpels.
