Soomro reiterates government's resolve to bring culprits to book: Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza offered

Caretaker Federal Cabinet on Saturday offered Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto at the PM House here. Prime Minister Mohammedmian Soomro, cabinet members and officials of the Prime Minister's Secretariat offered the Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Soomro reiterated the government's commitment to utilise all means to investigate the tragic incident and bring the culprits behind this episode to trial.
He reaffirmed the government would continue its efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestation, and called upon the people to remain calm and extend their support in the investigation of this tragic incident.
Lauding the role of Benazir Bhutto in national politics, the Prime Minister said her contribution for the rights and betterment of the people would be long remembered. The death of Benazir Bhutto was a great national loss which could never be compensated, he added.
Special prayers were offered for Benazir Bhutto that may Allah Almighty rests the departed soul in eternal peace. The tragic death of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto has saddened the whole nation and it is a difficult moment for all Pakistanis, Imam Sahib said and called for bearing this loss with patience and tranquility.
