APCEA office-bearers take oath

The newly elected cabinet of All Pakistan Commercial Exporters Association (APCEA) Saturday took oath of the office and pledged to make collective efforts for the welfare of the members of the association.
A general body meeting of APCEA was held here with outgoing Chairman of APCEA, Asghar Khan in the chair who also presented one year performance of the association during the meeting.
Jamshed Khan has been elected unopposed new Chairman of the association, Kamran Khan as Vice- Chairman, Abdul Jabbar from Balochistan zone and Muhammad Ali from Punjab, Federal Capital area Islamabad.
Returning Officer congratulated the newly elected Chairman of APCEA and his cabinet and expressed the hope that the new body would make sincere efforts for the welfare of the members and the association.
Addressing the meeting Jamshed Khan said that all the groups of the association would be given equal importance and the decisions for the welfare of the association would be taken in the light of their suggestions and guidance.
He said that the new office bearers would try their best to live up to the expectation of the exporters community and would not take any step which is counter to their welfare and prosperity.
Earlier, the outgoing chairman of the association awarded shields to the retiring members of the executive committee including Mushtaq Ahmad, Amjad Ali, Hamad Ahmad, Imtiaz Ahmad Ali, Muhammad Asif Khan and Matiullah. The new chairman APCEA also presented shied to the ex-Chairman of the association and appreciated his efforts for the wellbeing of the exporters.
