Zardari appeals workers to remain united, peaceful

PPP central leader Asif Ali Zardari has appealed to the workers to remain united and peaceful. In his brief address here Sunday, he said the murder of Benazir Bhutto is a national tragedy and irreparable loss, which could be overcome with great courage together.
Quran Khawani and prayers for the departed soul of the slain PPP Chairperson were offered at Bhutto House. Members of Bhutto family, PPP national and provincial leaders and thousands of people attended the soyum of Benazir Bhutto.
Slogans were chanted against the murder of Benazir Bhutto and the government. Asif Ali Zardari said that PPP would accomplish the mission of Benazir Bhutto as she sacrificed her life the existence and integrity of the country. He said the sacrifice of Benazir Bhutto shows that Bhutto is still alive.
Talking to the mourners, he said the enemies of Benazir Bhutto removed her from the way, as they understand that they will face defeat in the elections. He prayed that Almighty Allah give him courage to bear this loss.
Later Asif Ali Zardari told reporters Punjab is not involved in the murder of PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto. He said the Punjabis have the same sorrow and indignation as the Sindhis. He stopped the workers who were chanting anti-Punajb slogans and urged them to promote harmony and brotherhood.
