Pakistan Railway Sports Board (PRSB) Vice-President Irfan Gohar, Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Media Manager Akber Wahidi, Pakistan Senior Cricket Board Chief Executive Ashiq Qureshi and Cricket promoter Malik Sarwar have expressed deep sense of grief and sorrow over the sad demise of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
"It is a national tragedy and entire nation is grieved over this incident. The PRSB joined the three-day mourning and had postponed the matches of National Basketball Championship as a token of respect," said Gohar.
They prayed that Allah Almighty may rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant patience and courage to her spouse Asif Ali Zardari, sister Sanam, children Bilawal, Bakhtawar, Asifa and other members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with equanimity.
