ISE index loses 92.93 points

Equities witnessed broad-based erosion at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where major players and small investors offloaded their position during Tuesday's bearish rally amid decrease in index. ISE-10 Index showed a decline of 92.93 points as it moved from 2,925.56 to 2,796.07 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 1,660,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 245,700 shares. Total 149 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (110) closed in negative territory, 34 closed in positive zone, whereas one company remained glued to its overnight level. The volume of NIB Bank was 55,000 shares. The turnover of Pakistan Petroleum was 25,900 shares, while the turnover of Pakistan PTA was 25,000 shares.
