The College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), Regional Centre, Lahore, is providing international level facilities to the senior civil and army teachers of the country in medical education.
While addressing the concluding ceremony of the Supervisor Skills Workshop here on Tuesday, CPSP President Professor Zafar Ullah Chaudhry highlighted the services of the CPSP in the field of medical training, research in evolving a transparent evaluation system.
He said the CPSP Headquarter and its regional centers are continuously imparting high level training facilities to the medical community. Professor Khalid Masood Gondal, regional director, CPSP Regional Centre, Lahore, said the centre has trained more than 1,000 trainees and 250 supervisors during the past six months. He appreciated and acknowledged efforts of Colonel Asif Hashmi, facilitator of the workshop.
Professor Zafar Ullah Chaudhary and Professor Muhammad Amjad also addressed the invigilators of specialist examination being held on Tuesday in headquarter at Karachi, Regional and overseas centers.
Professor Zafar Ullah Chaudhary said that because of fair, transparent, unbiased and fool-proof examination system. The FCPS degree has attained an international standard. At least 15,000 specialists of CPSP are providing 85 percent specialist needs of the country both in civil and army. Arrangements for the forthcoming Specialists examination were also taken into consideration in the present scenario.
