Benazir's assassination termed national tragedy

The Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufactures Association (PPMA) has termed the assassination of Pakistan People's Party chairperson Benazir Bhutto a national tragedy and a big loss to the country.
The association picked a resolution in a meeting held on Tuesday with its Chairman Nadeem Shami. The meeting offered Fateha, saying Pakistan had been deprived of a great visionary leader.
The Kashmir Action Committee Pakistan at a meeting of its executive committee held on Tuesday grieved the tragic death. The meeting passed a resolution to condole her death, saying Pakistan had been deprived of a great leader, adding that the people of Jammu and Kashmir had hoped for a just solution of their homeland in Ms Bhutto's leadership. The committee said Ms Bhutto sacrificed her life for the cause of the downtrodden people of her country, for democracy and freedom.
The Arain Youth Forum Pakistan's meeting also condemned the death and many other innocent people. Secretary General Nasir Mehmood paid tributes to Ms Bhutto, saying she dedicated her life for the restoration of democracy in the country. The meeting also condoled with the Bhutto family and families of other victims.
