The country has lost a popular and charismatic leader at a critical juncture, which is a tragedy for the people of Pakistan as well as for the entire region of South Asia.
This was observed in a meeting of Arain Youth Forum Pakistan (AYFM), which condemned the gruesome terrorist attack that resulted in the tragic death of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and many citizens in Rawalpindi on December 27.
AYFM General Secretary and Lahore High Court Advocate Nasir Mehmood paid rich tributes to late Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, saying she was aware of all the risks and yet she dedicated her life for the restoration of democracy in the country. The meeting offered condolence to bereaved Bhutto family and the families of other victims who lost their lives in the attack.
Mian Rizwan Ali also spoke on the occasion and said he was deeply saddened and shocked over the tragic news of the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. "A high-level impartial inquiry should be held and her killers should be brought to the justice", he stressed.
