Poll campaign picks up, final date awaited

After a gap of five days which saw the gruesome murder of Benazir Bhutto and escalating violence in the country, the election campaign is beginning to resume here but the candidates and supporters are still awaiting a final date for elections.
Talking to APP on Tuesday, central leader of the Niwani Khidmat Mahaz said: "Martyrdom of former prime minister and PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto is a major loss of the nation".
He said he went to Naudero to offer condolence and convey solidarity with Asif Ali Zardari, other members of the bereaved family and PPP itself. PML (N) leader Najeebullah Khan said that late Mohtarma Bhutto sacrificed her life for the cause of democracy in the country.
