Law and order situation in Sindh reviewed

The obtaining law and order situation in the province was reviewed here on Tuesday at a meeting held at Chief Minister House under the chairmanship of caretaker Chief Minister Abdul Qadir Halepota.
It was attended by Home Minister Akhtar Zamin, Chief Secretary Fazlur Rehman, Home Secretary Ghulam Mohammed Mohtaram, IG Police Zia-ul-Hasan and representatives of law enforcing agencies. The Chief Minister announced that protection of life and property of the people in the province would be ensured at all costs.
He directed that all possible steps should be taken to restore normal daily life. He appealed to people to beware of rumourmongers. The meeting was informed that Army, Ranger and Police patrolling was continuing in the province while day to day activities must be restored. It was pointed out that law enforcers were not oblivion of their responsibilities, and conditions were improving in the province.
