Three-member committee has been set up in each Taluka of Hyderabad district, each would be headed by DDO, to assess and compensate the damages of properties and losses of innocent lives of the people occurred during the highly unfortunate looting spree incidents erupted just after the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.
The Executive District Officer (EDO), Revenue, Hyderabad Syed Barkat Ahmed Rizvi on Tuesday notified with the approval of Zila Nazim Hyderabad Kanwar Naveed Jamil. He further notified that the committees with the members of Mukhtiarkar (Revenue), police and SHO concerned were directed to accomplish the task with the assistance of elected representatives, transporters and business community within a week and submit their reports on the prescribed formate-I and II for onward transmission to the concerned quarters.
