Meeting to review security measures for Muharram

Chief Commissioner Islamabad has convened a high level meeting on January 3 to make elaborate security arrangements for ensuring peace during Muharram ul Haram in the federal capital.
The meeting to be attended by Ulema of all schools of thought would also stress the need for forging interfaith harmony, fraternity, peace and tranquillity during Muharram.
The IGP Islamabad Shahid Nadim Baloch, Deputy Commissioner Amir Ali Ahmad, SSP Syed Kaleem Imam, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rana Akbar Hayat, Assistant Inspector General (Special Branch) Rao Muhammad Iqbal, SSP traffic, assistant commissioners and magistrates would also attend the meeting. The meeting would also approve a 'code of ethics' for religious harmony during Muharram.
