Sherpao for peace in Kurram Agency

Chairman of Sherpao faction of Pakistan Peoples Party Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao on Thursday expressed grave concern over the prevailing worst law and order situation in Kurram Agency and said there was need for concrete steps for long lasting peace in the agency.
According to a press statement, he said there was need for solid and concrete steps to end unrest among the people so that rest of the areas could remain safe from the Kurram's conflict.
He said that due to several deaths and injuries to the people of the area during the ongoing conflict it also spreading quickly to other areas. He demanded of the government to take quick action for restoring peace in the restive agency. He urged upon the law enforcing agencies to take immediate steps to control the situation otherwise it would grip other areas of Fata and settled areas.
He said there was need to focus on the entire Fata for ending unstable situation and ignorance of the people and asked the government to exploit all resources in this regard.
Stressing on to control the detracting law and orders situation in Kurram before Muharram, Sherpao opined that the situation could become worst during Muharram. He appeals the people of Kurram Agency to play their role in bringing permanent peace in the agency.
