Goods transporters claim Rs 10 billion losses

Karachi Goods Carriers Association (KGCA) has claimed that goods transporters had sustained estimated financial loss of Rs 10 billion due to burning down of hundreds of loaded trailer-trucks. KGCA leaders demanded early compensation of their losses.
They feared that their losses could further escalate as heavy goods transport is yet to ply on upcountry roads, as well as, to India and Afghanistan.
