ISE index gains 70.02 points

Bulls dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Friday and equities witnessed broad-based recovery under the lead of hot favourites amid rise in index. ISE-10 Index showed an improvement of 70.02 points as the ISE index moved from 2,886.85 to 2,956.87 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 3,779,300 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,660,200 shares. Total 140 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (87) closed in positive territory, 52 closed in negative e zone, whereas one company remained glued to its overnight levels.
The volume of Bosicor Pakistan was 1,109,500 shares. The turnover of Javed Omer Vohara was 334,800 shares. The volume of Arif Habib Securities was 334,300 shares.
