South Korea's top carmaker Hyundai Motor will establish a car factory in Brazil this year as part of plans to expand overseas production, company vice chairman Kim Dong-Jin said Friday. He said the company was looking for a site to build the factory with a capacity of 100,000 vehicles a year.
"When the factories in Russia and Brazil are completed, Hyundai-Kia will have a capacity of six million cars per year, including three million units in South Korea and three million units abroad," Kim Dong-Jin said.
