The newly appointed Punjab University vice-chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran made some administrative changes in the University. The vice-chancellor has appointed Associate Professor Institute of Communication Studies Dr Mujahid Ali Mansoori as Students Advisor of Punjab University. Mansoori will also act as Advisor Media Relations/Spokesman of the University.
The vice-chancellor has also appointed Professor Dr Shoukat Ali as Chairman of Department of Physics and Professor Dr Bashir Ahmad as Resident Officer-I of the University. Dr Saeed Ahmad Nagra has been appointed as Chairman Hall Council of the University.
The Punjab University has transferred the services of University Public Relations Officer Muhammad Rashid Khan to Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS) as PRO permanently. Moreover, Punjab University Examination Department has declared the result of MBBS, Final Professional, Part - I, Annual Examination 2007. As many as 251 candidates appeared in the exam and 161 candidates were declared successful.
