Train services resume

Pakistan Railways (PR) has resumed service of Shalimar Express (27-Up/28-Down) from Saturday, a spokesman of the organisation said here on Saturday. The spokesman said that due to temporary stoppage of 29-up/30-down 'Shah Rukn-e-Alam' Express, Shalimar Express is being run from Multan, Shujaabad, Lodhran, Mirpur Mathelo and Mehrabpur.
The spokesman said that the Pakistan Railways (PR) administration taking steps on emergency basis has restored Peshawar-Rawalpindi-Lahore-Karachi and Quetta train operation. It claimed that trains are now running all over the railway network and besides passenger trains, PR is also running goods trains for oil, coal, goods for Afghanistan and container service.
